Fresh vegetables from the garden, salad from the fields, mushrooms,
rosemary potatoes and more depending on the season.
Cantuccini (local biscuits) and Vin Santo (a dessert wine), grappa and
genuine Chianti are available as much as you like... many other recipes
of traditional Volterra and Tuscan cuisine, served at the pleasant table
by the chimney in the stone room, outside on the pergola, or beneath the
starry skies
.
It is a traditional kitchen, simple and tasteful, which takes you back
to the old, abundant “slow food”, rediscovering the merit of sitting
around a plentiful table.
The magic recipe for your well-being is made from simple and natural
things, healthy eating, enjoying one another’s company, resting well and
moving around in the outdoors.
LUNCH
Upon request, it is also possible to have lunch, from a full meal to an
afternoon snack. During the day it is also possible to request
sandwiches or drinks.
BREAKFAST
For breakfast, between 8am and 10.30am, we serve warm and cold milk,
coffee, tea, fruit juice and water; bread and biscuits, cereal, butter,
marmalade, honey from our apiary, homemade cakes, fresh seasonal fruit;
upon request, egg, sliced ham and cheese for a continental breakfast.
